Rosh Hashanah
Surprise Lake Camp is proud to offer a Rosh Hashanah observance specifically designed for people who usually don’t do anything on Rosh Hashanah, but feel like they should, and for families who usually attend a temple service, but find that it doesn’t work for them.
Ours is a child-friendly, camp-style service, with lots of singing, and with all of the prayers translated and explained. We follow up the service with a selection of activities for all ages and a buffet lunch at 1pm. There is no charge for the program, but those who attend are encouraged to make a donation to help support the program and the camp.
Registration for the Rosh Hashanah program will be available during the summer.
